Conformation Dogs are judged against
their breed standard description. Dogs are first judged within their
BREED. Breed winners then compete in GROUP competition. Group
winners then compete to determine the dog which is ultimately named BEST IN
SHOW for the day's competition. The conformation shows are
held in the main and lower levels of the Hall of Education.

Obedience In precise and stylized
competition, dog and handler are judged to determine how flawlessly they can
perform together to commands given by their judge. The top scoring dog
and handler are awarded the coveted HIGH IN TRIAL award. Obedience
competition is held daily on the upper level of the Hall of education.

Agility You've seen it on TV, and now
here it is live and in person (and dog)! Dogs running through tunnels,
leaping over jumps, climbing A-frames, snaking through weave-poles, and
racing over dog-walks. Watch the agility competition daily at the
Stock Show Events Center (the horse arena).
